Sitting around -4 C/25 F for the time being. This winter has been pretty decent, all things considered. A bunch of -20 C/-4 F night time temps in the next few weeks (apparently) but it's got to shake off sometime. Pine stubby chunks, N_S loading I might add
43/73 water puddles laying everywhere after some heavy rain today. Strong wind advisory overnight. Burning maple. No wood cutting in the mud this weekend. Looks a little dryer next week for now anyway. We turn the clocks soon so maybe a little cutting after work soon.
34/76, mixed bag. Uglies, shorts probably every species in the pile. Been looking for the white doom since 7pm 'cause thats what the guessers said . Nothing yet, although the tea pot on the stove is now saying there's a change happening. I'll tell ya better Sunday.
Windy as can be, with heavy rain through the day. Going to get below 40. Beech and maple is doing the job tonight. Power is out at a substation nearby, but we lucked out in Popcorn, and the area affected was north of us.
31° ash. 73° inside. Sump pump still running every few minutes from all the rain we got the other day.
Good to hear from you again, we moved further north over the last year so I was not posting/ viewing.
Just home from meeting/dinner with my son and his bud up skiing. It's snowing, so I did the lazy guy thing and lit the pellets.
32 with light snow coming down. Apple, maple and elm in the living room stove, bacon and eggs on the kitchen stove. Time for more coffee.
32* here, Pellets still going. Time to start throwing some snow around. Looks like we got about 6" or 8" overnight.
46, had some heavy rain last night. Suppose to have some decent wind gusts throughout the day. Oak in the stove
33/63. Fire went out yesterday and I didn't make a new one before bed. Headed to mid 50's today so I think we'll just bundle up till evening.
