Given yooperdave's location in the UP, he definitely needs more snow removal than I do.

Heck, I've only plowed twice so far this winter, and that's with my quad/ATV.

Nah.. I just figure the guys with the large tractors must be over-compensating for a lack in other areas.

How would someone know what it’s like working with a little one of they don’t have personal experience? I’m talking tractors of course…

There's a "tool" for every job and every job has a tool, size that is.
Would you stir your morning coffee with a snow shovel?

I’ve got a JD X720… it does most of what I want…. And I work around the rest…. They’ll be short coming at times… you just have to find the combo that fits your 90% work pattern…

I like this!! Find one that does most of what you need. My neighbor on 1,000 acres has a bunch of Big John Deere I guess 200 HP; and a 40 hp Bota fo small stuff

yooperdave I know you super secretive but how many acres flat or hilly would help.

Kubota here is 84 months at 0
Even people that hate debt should be able to make $ on this

Just under 10 acres. No hills just downhill slope to the lake. The slope is nothing that anyone would be concerned about by driving the tractor parallel to the downhill side. 2-3 acres cleared and mowed; rest is forested. Driveway is all gravel while garage/parking area is paved.

About 900' length for driveway I guess

If it can’t lift a 2000 lb pallet, it’s a waste of money IMHO.

I say if it can't lift a 2 ton Pallet it is useless...

You guys are nuts, we all don't need to farm 160 acres and can't afford the biggest tractors.

Can't we agree that a tractor is a tool and any/all sizes have a place. My 9n does all I need, but if Someone would give me a giant Kubota it would do a better job!

I hear ya…. Thought I had a picture of a case Steiger 640. I’ll be picking up a case 540 quadtrak in the morning.

and red machines this winter. Tomorrow will be a quadtrak version of this. It’ll be about 14,000 lbs heavier. Just about 102k gross.

    for reference..
I’m 6’ (5’11” really). The one picture I’m standing next to the tire.
