Canadian border VT , someone at work has a new maverick XLT. Looks pretty nice, and while I didn't get in it it looks like it has plenty of room. Pretty much like this one.
Anyone else watch Mark Galicic's sawmill videos? He's like, this log's got so much crook in it, it should be a politician!

Lazy day today. Yesterday heavy wi SS pushed over trees like crazy. Power was out and had the opportunity to use the generator for the first time. Worked out fine, but had to play with the breakers to see which could be done without. wife with friends in Florida for the week so all quiet here.

These derelicts have been left on public land right by the pond for ages and the guy, who had been moved out of the neighborhood for a little while, just died. I posted this picture on our community Facebook page this morning and threw in a comment about an ice buildup issue on my road. By the time i got off work it was deleted. Looks like dad joined the group, and along with many others, took my side but got into a lengthy debate with some guy who seemed to be defending leaving derelicts where they will be an eyesore and environmental hazard...
Dad said someone said something about it being, or having been dealt with. Hopefully that means they'll be removed. Like, why leave it there. There's tow companies that buy them for scrap. Regarding the ice build up, if they don't soon do something better about that,. I might have a few choice words to say to the department of highways.
