Gardens are fenced so they stay out. Otherwise, no gardens! They even come right up by the house and they are always welcomed here. I just happen to think they are about the prettiest animal God made. They have also blessed us by having fawns born right in our yard; both front yard and back yard. We love them but we also enjoy eating one occasionally.
We have several that live in town here. Campinspecter was watching one pick blackberries right below the house. It was quite neat how she licked it off the stem and seemly didn't get a lot of thorns with it.
Ya, the thorns don't seem to bother them at all. Blackberries are one of their favorite foods so naturally when hunting, we tend to check out the blackberry patches.
That was with a cheap trail cam. The picture is also of poor quality because it actually was a video and I just captured the stills from those videos.
Nope. These are not shooters. They are bait. Where the girls are, the boys will follow, especially if only once per year is a hot date!
