Right now it’s 29/72. Started a fire about 9p and put one split on this am w/drafts open and will let it go out again. Pretty much shoulder season with these warmer temps. Headed to near 60 today.

50 and dropping towards the mid 30s. The house was 67 when I got home but felt much colder for some reason. Hickory and black locust on tap for this evening.

No fire yesterday or last night but woke to 67 inside so I just lit up with oak and walnut. One firebox full should raise temps enough to take the chill off, expected to hit mid sixties today! 46 outside temp.

Temps already falling from low 50's! I wonder how long before I need to light a fire in the stove? I certainly am not accustomed to saying that in February.

We actually hit 40 a few times overnight! For the most part, it was 38-39 until an hour and a half ago. 32 now and rain has made the transition into snow with a NW wind helping out.

Driveway is a huge skating rink with standing water on the level spots.

I headed out for a walk but thought better after slipping twice in 10'. I'll wait for the snow to cover it up.

A low of 52 tonight, 62 tomorrow night, then crashing to 30 on Friday night. Almost at the finish line. Buttoned up the tarps yesterday for spring storms.
