Good luck finding a deer processor this year

    Took 30# of the daughters deer/s she got this year in last Friday. Picked it up this morning.

    Brought home 27.8# of summer sausage and 15# of snack sticks.

    Wondering what others are paying at their processors?

    I had about 45lbs. made into trail, sticks and ground burger, it was 172

    No kidding? I’ve heard that folks don’t really like bear meat compared to other wild game. What were the food sources for the bear that you liked? Ag land nearby? Thanks for sharing your experiences! T.Jeff Veal you ever been bear hunting?

    In the area we were hunting there are quite a few orchards, apples and peaches that I know of, maybe others. So basically hunting “problem” bears. Mine came out of a peach orchard, probably been gorging on peaches for a month or so

    I have some family that goes, but they don’t eat the meat, I don’t believe.
