    Been a tough winter here lots of rain and mud :doh: . Finally clear cool and dry so out to the woods to get 2026-2027 wood cut. Also a load for a friend in need for 2024.
    I took all dead standing he wanted some that was green that the tops had blown off this falls storm. He likes green for carving.

    Looks like a good day for firewooding. Mid has definitely complicated matters this winter. How was the oak for splitting? Indoor bonfire is pretty sweet too!

    Some of the dead oak is in the Jotul now it tested at 16-18% it splits good .
