Looks like the mrs just booked us a long weekend trip to new orleans towards the end of November. Anyone been there and know of some fun things to do/see in and around the city? She also found out my cousins wife owns a cupcake shop just north of there so i'm sure we'll be stopping in to say hello and grab a few cupcakes . Her shop is in Covington, la on the other side of lake pontchartrain. Im looking forward to driving the pontchartrain causeway (longest bridge over water in the world)
It is a big waterway to cross. I spent 6 weeks down there on the other side of the river from NO. Air boat tours might be an option for you.
Yea it looks it! The causeway website says it's 24 miles long . But it's alot quicker to get to covington that way instead of going around the lake
