Normally they will lock when i close my hand. Sometimes it catches me off guard and ill curse as it is hurts. Hurts to pop it free. I had injections once by orthopedist and they didnt work. She wanted me to get surgery (simple procedure) but i opted out as down time would drive me nuts. Hasnt locked in a while and lately the arthritis in my left ring finger has been bothering me. Ill be 55 in April and the only thing im looking forward to is my senior discount.
I'm the same age! It really messes with my mind sometimes. I don't heal as fast and sometimes don't heal at all. I'm sure the older folks are chuckling at us.
Some of us here on the FHC have not yet reached the level of advanced experience of Dok440 and BuZZsaw. It'd be nice to hear about some of the good things that come with age. Give us kids something to look forward to gents.
One of the good things that come with age is the rational for buying toys to help you get down what you have to do. When My boys were getting older and started going off to college, that is when I got a snow blower. Wood splitter came along someplace in that time along with a garden tiller. It got too hard turning over the garden by hand. Let us not forget chainsaws. The older you get the more mechanized you have to be to keep up. I turn 76 this year
Six gallons of mix is whole lot of cross cut sawing. I run three tanks through the 395xp and my forearm does this cramp thing where it tries to touch my upper arm. When that happens I put the gas powered tools down for safety.
