I love this saw. Old school MS440. Cutting up standing dead Blue Oak and Manzanita today.

I believe it is, nobody has used it for years now, probably a decade at least I bet. I’ll try to remember to look at it tomorrow, but that name seems right

 

I think Blue Oaks are only on the west coast. Similar to white oak? Hard cutting, had to touch up the chain with a file three times today. Some of the wood was dirty which didn't help. It was a good day! Next, splitting and stacking, my favorite.

 

It was meant to be! $300 for a 357 is a good deal. If I stumbled across a good 357 for that price I'd snatch it up too. 357's are handy little screamers.

 

The 7900 is a beast and is pretty lightweight…beautiful saw u got there

My first Makita's. Never ran one before, but a lot of folks seem to like them. So, I figured I'd best join the party.

Always wanted one of those.

 

I've wanted one for about 3 years, but didn't want to add another bar mount and different chain DL count, but I've since bought a couple other Husky's, so it doesn't really matter. CAD wins again............

Edit: I sure hope they live up to the hype a lot of folks have for them.
