After low wood consumption to start the season, we've gone through a bunch the last month. With temps in the 40's and sunshine today, I went on a re-supply mission to my mass storage site. Nice seasoned chunks of red oak and sugar maple.

Chunks and uggs usually get burned in the start of the season here. But it's always nice to have em.

Same here, but this pile was obstructed earlier in the season. All good.

Perhaps a blessing in disguise with warmer temps on the way. I might as well have a conveyor set up to my furnace burning nuglies on the ice cold days! One can really go through a ton of them in a hurry

Gotta keep the home fores burning like my late mother used to say.

Good day for it. Better than the prior couple days for sure.

Sometimes those oddballs end up fitting in nicely.
    Other times, not so much.
I see quite a few normal splits though, too.
