Yes just took me a while to get all the details and artwork worked out. Shirts should be printing next week!
Ok, if anyone saw an order page for tshirts, please disregard it, it was leaked (I forgot to make it invisible). But this is how close we are-- that I am making the page and shopping cart, etc. Once we hear back from the printers on a few things and are sure printing has begun, we will begin taking preorders. Sorry for any confusion.
any orders for now are in PM, after I place the order it will be though the shopping cart. If someone cant figure the cart out or just wants to PM me thats ok too. We are just doing it this way so that we can put the correct inventory into the shopping cart. So when it goes live there will be a count of how many shirts are available to buy so we dont sell more than we have.
So we hit another glitch with the shirts on Friday and long story short, some parts of the logo (flames, wood, and saw blade) weren't as high quality as the rest and would have pixelated. It was a good catch and, well, we now have a new, more realistic looking logo. Hope you like it, I expect this one to go through the printers no prob. Hope we can get them printed this week. Oh you probably want to see the logo...
I think, for most of us, we appreciate the time and trouble you are going through to do it right the first time. I can be patient - if I have to be!! It will be nice to wear something we are as proud of as we are of the FHC forum.
I just know NOT to ship UPS. custom and shipping charges are brutal. Most of the things we get from the States are by US Postal Service and it isn't always the fastest but most of the time it is the cheapest. Are you going to be shipping many to Canada? You could take a couple of T-shirts and packaging into the Post Office and if they have time, check out the various options. Sometimes it is easier to do in a smaller post office if they aren't swamped with business. Of course there is always the road trip option, visiting each member as you cross the country, LOL!!
So far, I think I have just ordered two. Swags has the order database going. Canadian orders will probably take a bit of special handling, I think.
Can you ship them all to one person and then have that person send the others on? Is the difference between international and domestic postage enough to warrant that?
Well order is finally submitted, I had to wait on the company to send out the order form but we are now submitted. I ordered 158 shirts, that is basically 3 times as many as we had pre ordered so I should have plenty extra.
