Got the rest of the barn lights put up. Was going to do a few more but it would have been silly bright in there. Picked up lumber for the loft and goat pen tonight. Might start on it tomorrow evening.
Haven't had a clear sky in over a week. No sun, no stars, no moon - just gray or black depending on time of day. I take that back, Saturday afternoon a small rift in the clouds let me see a spot of blue sky. but that was off in the distance, so it really doesn't count.
Litchfield Maine. Wonderful country town. Lots of lakes, hills, old churches, country stores, volunteer fire dept. a farming community.
Keep in mind those lights are extra bright at first, and once used for a little bit, will not be as bright...it can take a few months, or longer depending on how much they are on, but its pretty noticeable.
Storm is here. And the wood bin got filled to overflowing this morning. Maple rounds stood up on the bottom. Ash rounds stood up on the second and third row. Plenty of BTUs for a while!
