Hope you weren't trying to sneak up on any wildlife with those squeaky brakes! We were surprised by the snow today...was only expecting a dusting...roads were actually pretty bad from about 10-3 or so today!
That's it! "I need someone to transport some parts...." and about a thousand other things I can get other people to do for me....
Snowing hard right now. Adding to the snow we got Friday. I think the recreation folks are going to be happy for a while. Another storm moving in Wednesday PM into Thursday. Weatherman says that will be significant also. Lucky for me, no out of home appointments this week. Just a few face to face on the internet. Plus one for PT to come. She can cancel as far as I am concerned. Hate pain. My dog goes out for his duty, but comes right back in. My son's husky loves the snow.
Had to fly out today on business. Day started at 5 am with loading the front porch rack, canvas bags, and the inside pan for the living room for the missus while I’m gone. Yes she can do it but could also cook for myself. So this works fine. Then plowed and snow blower for an hour Southern Vermont got about 7-8” in my yard best I can tell. Then off to Albany NY to fly out. Sat in plane for 1 hour waiting on weather to push back. Got to LaGuardia to see next flights canceled. Shortcut to ending. It’ll be 3 am before I get to hotel in Dallas. Not a rant really about weather really. Stay with me. I used to enjoy flying on business. It was a legitimate time to ponder on business stuff and disconnect for a brief time but not feel guilty about it. I just counted. Today I have 47 emails and texts that got answered or taken care of. Sitting in a terminal, shuttle, or in the runway. Along with 4 hrs and 12 minutes phone time. (Not counting sorting out the canceled flights/rebooking issue. I hate being so connected in todays world. I love the sharing of information. Forums, you tube etc are great! But the expectation for immediate responses to someone wanting to reach you has gotten to be a PITA. Guess I’m getting old… GET OFF MY LAWN!!! Lenny Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The name is great. We had some college students from Japan here a few years ago and they were going to go to NYC for a visit. They couldn't pronounce "la guardia". There is no "r" in the Japanese language. We had a great time teaching them to say "la guardia".
Some days go like that and it can be frustrating. I do not miss it at all. Good luck on the rest of the trip.
