29/ 55. Oak and a split of BL. Going to 40 with rain later. Seems like the movie Groundhog day with the weather and burning process this month.
8 outside this morning when I took the dog out and 54 inside. I actually slept most of the night (very unusual these days) so the stove had mostly cooled off for a change (pretty much runs 24/7). Gave me a chance to scoop out the ashes and clean the glass. 54 inside isn't bad, and nothing a sweatshirt won't handle. Stoked the stove with beech and red maple to get the temp back up. Another storm coming in overnight with 5-8 inches of snow expected.
36/68. High of 42 for today. Normal temps for this time of year (finally). Red oak and hickory. Mike in Okla
33 heading to about 38 today before the rain sets in this evening. Just reloaded with black locust on some red and sugar maple coals.
32/72 here. Snowing now. Supposed to see 3 inches and they are calling that a winter weather advisory
A few degrees above freezing all day. Some snow/rain mix...what the heck? Def a shock. Plus side to that, is got all the wood split in the yard that needed to hit the shed, finally in the shed. It's about 80 f inside with the stove idling on chunkies.
Morning ya'll, 27/61. Snowing steady as it did through the overnight, picked up 6 to 8" of powder. I've got close to a foot on the ground including the snow over the weekend. Red Oak in the stove warming up the house as I consume caffine to prepare for snowblowing.
