Thats cool. Ive only seen a bluebird once in my life. Few years ago at stepdaughters house. She has an ideal habitat for them. Open area with minimal trees. Were too wooded here.

We have bluejays which ive grown to dislike as they are very aggressive and noisy. They havent been at the feeder in some time. Warmer weather they are regulars.

We have seen a bunch this winter. I’m guessing that the lack of low temps might be a factor. Blue jays are messy jerks! Lol

There are at times a half dozen on that feeder. I have been trying to get more pics but they are very skiddish. The lab sits in that window watching for hours! The “bird” instinct is strong.

I spotted a flock of robins about 2 weeks ago while I was at the stacks. Was wondering what they were doing here at this time of year.

I was just doing some outside stuff when a crow flying off caught my eye. There was a mature bald Eagle in a tree close by. A first for me on the property, wish I could have gotten a pic.

I have seen many locally but never here on the property. There is a open town water supply less than a mile away as he could fly I’m guessing that’s home.

We've had bluebirds stick around for the year.

They seem to prefer blocks of suet in a feeder they can perch on.

My bucket list bird. Only have seen one once in my life. We go through a couple blocks of suet weekly here, but no bluebirds on them.

IMG_3115.JPG Spotted this lone female turkey at the feeder in the last week. They are regulars in the woods and yard here. They spook very easily. The Tom replies half the time to my turkey call "gobble" IMG_3111.JPG

Our rose breasted grossbeaks have returned. The male has a sweet tooth along with the woodpeckers (male & female downy woodpeckers pictured) as they enjoy the hummingbird feeder. Have yet to see a hummingbird, but expect to any day now. IMG_3131.JPG IMG_3135.JPG IMG_3102.JPG

Watched this flicker forage for ants. They eat suet but rarely see them on it. IMG_3142.JPG IMG_3145.JPG IMG_3147.JPG IMG_3146.JPG

I see Flickers on our suet a lot. I can always tell they have been on it because you can see where they have been really pigging out. The bad part is that they view the suet as part of their territory and this time of year they start drumming on the chimney flashing at the end of the house where the feeders are. Always nice to here them rattling on the flashing at the crack of dawn when you are trying to get a few more winks of sleep!:startled:

LOL!!! We have the downies, hairies and red bellied pecking on our wood shingle siding. I can sympathize on the jack hammering that wakes you! :picard::hair:

Speaking of woodpeckers, do any of you have Pileated woodpeckers visit your feeders. I see and hear more and more of the Pileated (never saw any 7 or so years ago) but have never seen them at my feeders.
