Just keep in mind it is easier to get hurt when you are 470 years old.

Need to do maintenance this weekend. Grease the skid steer, change oil on the apu and a few other filters. Get the truck ready to leave for Monday. Do laundry blah blah blah.

    back to the salt mines

    figure of speech.

I’m an owner/operator. Means I’ve been home on my weekend time and now it’s time to go back to work. I’ll likely leave Monday or Tuesday and I’ll be gone for 15-18 days driving around the country. When I come home, I’m home for about 12 days straight for my “weekend”.

APU is the auxiliary power unit and gets changed every 1500 hours. It’s due. Keeps the batteries charged and the engine per 35*F. Also provides Air conditioning in the summer.

......and even more importantly, it takes longer to recover from getting hurt. :handshake:

Got my parent's plumbing fixed this morning. Just like any plumbing project it took twice as long as I thought it would. The sub floor around the toilet flange was rotted out so I had to fix it too.

Whatever bug I had has now moved on to the kids.

    Weekend starts soon.

Spent about 5 hours cutting wood today. BIG rounds. 25-27”ers. Picked a couple of 4’X24” rounds out to make some Timbers from next time I’m home. Should be able to get at least a dozen 4”x4”x4’ pieces from them.

The company I work for does work at Cargill and I was lucky enough to take the elevator down under Lake Erie and see the salt mines. We designed a new boat loader for them a few years ago.

Took the family to see the Potsdam Community Band Concert at Hosmer Hall, Crane School of Music. Our son, who is in his first year of College, played his Trumpet in the band. First time. They sounded great! A guest conductor from Crane lead them.

Wouldn't you just like to be able to give them a good kick in the azz. That just goes to show where their priorities are. Good that you didn't buy from them.

Lots of young men and women in the military today who drive anything with wheels or tracks on. They attend schools with other young instructors. They are the ones to hire when they return to civilian life.
