Mornin Chvymn99 . Glad I'm not the only crazy up at this hr . Little man woke me up around 3:45 and I got him back to sleep easily. Me, not so much. Layed back in bed to try and get a bit more sleep but mrs piney and the dogs were having a snoring contest. Figured I might as well start my day so I loaded the stove up and got a big pot of coffee goin. Gonna need a little extra today

I hope to get some splitting time in this morning. Chance of showers. We'll see.

Also hoping to have lunch with a friend.

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. In the 50's this morning, foggy. Going to stack some oak that was split yesterday afternoon, then we got our eye appointments for 2:00 today. Not sure after that...might go to Sam's Club, that's always fun......

Good morning! 37F and cloudy, 40s won't last much longer. Refilled the roadside stand last night, split the last of the cottonwood I had bucked and almost filled the IBC tote and painted a pegboard wall panel that's going in the shop. Also cut down some random length pear splits to 8" on the miter saw. Leftovers will be bagged as chunks. High school girls basketball away game tonight. Have a God day!

 

Yeah me too. Hit me pretty good. Have a face cord to delivery and gonna try and do that today.

Morning all. Found out today that our neighbour is in hospital with pneumonia. Starting to get better but it sounds like it will be a long haul to recovery. Rain again today is the forecast.

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. 58°/70° right now, heading to 72°, cloudy.
Probably going to split some more oak, then go to the Baptist Church a couple miles from home and get a big oak trunk they had taken down, same place that gave us the big twin hickories. There is another oak that has blown down in the woods behind this one they want us to look at.

Low 30's and clear. Rain with some snow mixed in, later this afternoon.

I'm taking my dad for a Dr appointment, early this afternoon. I'm hoping to get him back before anything starts to fall from the sky.

Before that, I hope to get back to some splitting and stacking. I started yesterday, but showers put an end to it.

Morning all. Just above the freezing mark this morning and dark out. It is a bit lighter in the evenings now. We get a few flurries of snow over the weekend. Of course, we are thinking of going to visit our daughter on the other side of the island 6 hours away for the weekend. We will see what the weather is going to be like.
