    Good morning brother.
    That's a beauty!
It's a good thing y'all got the sunrise pic today, cause we're under the clouds this morning.

Woke up around 1:00. Wide awake. Decided to give in and read rather than tossing and turning. Turned light off at 4:00. Next thing I know it is after 7:00. I guess I got enough sleep after all.

Looks like the little village that the hoarder from Australia makes. I can't remember his FHC name.

    Edit: leoht is his name.

Morning All. I have missed a few days. Yesterday was a good day. We went over to Mom's and moved 1 1/2 cords of wood into Mom's basement. We need to go over next Sunday and move about the same. Being sick we got behind on moving wood but she is on the 3 year plan so dry wood available wasn't affected.

The after effects of my cold/flu is stuffed up ears and ringing in them. Yesterday was good, today it is worse. I guess the prospect of being a firewood hoarder in action yesterday, calmed down the ringing.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good afternoon! 40F with rain, supposed to quit by evening. Typical spring weather except it's January. Split mixed hardwoods, pear and sugar maple over the weekend, somewhere around 2 face cords. I actually feel somewhat accomplished. More splitting to do in the shop tonight. I already moved racks of rounds inside yesterday anticipating the rain. Might get a little more done on the project table I'm working on. Have a God day!

Beautiful pictures! Nothing like surveying wood stacked in IBC totes early in the morning. :woodsign::stack:

    Good morning, members.

29⁰ clear with a bright crescent moon on a bit of snow cover from yesterday. Heading to mid-40's with sun.

Hoping to go for a walk this morning. Then run an errand or two.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. 44° heading to mid 60's. Good chance of rain for the next 3 days, while I'm off, of course...:tears:...but the Good Lord knows what we need. Going to finish up the cherry and then start back on processing the oak. Hope we can get eye appointments. Our carrots have run out...lol...
Wonder what buZZsaw BRAD is up to today?
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME.

Good morning everyone. 37 and rain moving in. I'll have a busy day at work doing everyone elses job. Must be a supply chain issue with competence.

My best friend's (James) grandfather passed away yesterday. He was 98. He was something special. Farmed his entire life, could fix anything. Quick witted and had a sharp mind up until his last couple days. James was only 8 years old when his dad died in 1986. So his grandfather was his father figure. Strangley he passed away on the same date as his son (my friend's dad).

    Have a good day everyone.

Good morning! 42F and cloudy. Enjoying the warm weather as long as possible. Split about 1/2 IBC tote of maple and cottonwood in the shop last night. I'll finish a few more rounds of cottonwood tonight. I add a few pieces to other hardwoods in my bundles. I need to cut some small splits of pear down to 8" for competition smoking wood. They should dry pretty fast. Then I'll make up more campfire bundles for inventory. Have a God day!

Morning all. Another day, another dollar. Yesterday was wild. We nearly had to shut the school as so many teachers were away. Illness, field trips and leaves of absences have really whittled down the teacher population. I don't think there will be many field trips in the future until this wave of sickness passes.

Sorry to hear about the friend's grandfather's passing. Men and women like that are such a resource in our lives. They have seen so many changes in their lifetime and so much knowledge stored up.

Thanks Backwoods Savage for the picture. That was so neat that he and his Dad came so far for your GTG.

    Everyone have a great day.
