43/70 heading for 35 overnight. Finally was able to get my helper here and we had a clean roof, no snow or frost. Got the stove just back together this afternoon. Got a fire of ash and cherry going.
33 hear now with drizzle going to 24 overnight. Just reloaded with 3 small dead standing cherry splits.
Who let my glass get so dirty?! One large crotch section of black locust and a couple elm chunks for the overnight. That should leave me with something to wake up to at 4:30. It’s 34 out, 73 in and only dropping to about 30 by dawn.
12 at bedtime. Ash and Beech in the Wood Gun. Going down to 8 overnight. Then to 30 by tomorrow afternoon.
48f this morning, drizzle and foggy. Second job took me 2 hours into Iowa. What joy when wipers decided today was a good day to crap out on me. 36f now with snow/rain starting tomorrow evening sometime.
Just put 3 more small cherry splits on and hoping I dont get cooked out as its at 73 and I shut the stove all the way down.
