Had a few beers last night and let’s just say I wasn’t in tip top shape this morning. Kicked myself in the butt to split some wood. The full cage is red oak that I plan to sell. On top are some ash uglies that I just put there for now. The 3/4 full cage is “heavy hitter” wood for myself in 2024. Ironwood and red oak. Will top with black locust. The ground is cherry that I’ll stack in a different cage. About 32 degrees and sunny. Feel great now!!

Little bit of an overhang eh? ;) Looks like it was a productive day nonetheless. Can’t beat that kind of weather for January either.

    Wooding can be very cathartic.

    Nice looking totes.

I can’t take credit. Someone on this site used it once and I thought “I gotta use that some day”

Best way to feel better is to work through it instead of staying in the house.

Gave it up 17 years ago and don’t miss those mornings at all but at the age I’m at now working as hard as you did leaves me feeling like a hangover.

Bunch of years ago, I had too many one night while camping w/ friends at a bike week event. Next "morning", I couldn't get vertical the entire day or evening. After that incident, I don't drink more than 1 or 2. Just not worth it to me.
