We bought a County Line 30 ton fast cycle splitter bon Sept '18. A few days ago the valve started feeling sloppy while running it. Sometimes on the return stroke, won't pop lever back to neutral, forward stroke lever feels sloppy and wouldn't stop when released, wedge would slow down, but continue to advance. I noticed a cap on top of the valve with screw and lock nut on it. Does it need adjustment or take it back to TSC, it is still under warranty.

Take it back if under warranty. I had a similar problem it was a broken stud at the back of the spool.

Hey T. Jeff Veal, how did you make out with that valve issue? I have a County Line 25 ton splitter and the valve is sloppy just as you described yours above.
It won't always close on retract and isn't crisp between neutral and forward lever positions.
Is there an adjustment or a user replaceable part inside the valve that can solve this problem? Thanks for any help from other Hoarders.

Yes. For Jeff start with the @ and type his name with the period and no space. It’ll give you a selection of members to choose from or the individual’s name you typed.
