You beat me to it, was going to say the same thing... that in locales of high humidity like we have here, I figure it's different. Fungus/mold can be a problem unless a stack is well exposed to sun and wind. And extended rainy periods like we sometimes have (weeks, not days) are bad for firewood.
Oh No you guys have a different weather down there. Spent a month on the gulf between Alabama and Louisiana. I saw trees growing on the sides of a house, sweated in the shower and the new speakers in my urban hot rod turned to mush. I still have no idea how you guys dry firewood down there LOL
