I dodged it but my wife and kids had both the flu and strep throat over the last 3 weeks. Best wishes on a speedy recovery.

Same here , I had the flu a couple weeks back. It kicked my tail end , also had Covid earlier but the flu just stopped me dead in my tracks.
Two plus weeks to finally get my act together and back to somewhat normal from the flu.

We had something run through the house between thanksgiving and Christmas. Son had low fever for over a week and it developed into an ear infection. Wife was on the couch for a couple days. I had the chills for a few days youngest just ended up with a cold type deal.

wife works in elementary school, son is in 2nd grade and lil one is in daycare. We get hit on all fronts one of us usually has something for most of the winter.

A 36 hour stomach bug got my son just before Christmas and it got me just before New Year's. It was awfully violent...I woke my wife up tossing my cookies at 4am. I was downstairs and she was in bed upstairs. Thankfully it didn't last long.

Eat a clover of raw garlic with distilled water before bed for three nights. It kicks it out for most.

Had Covid in March and it put me out for two weeks but neither the wife or daughter caught it.
Nothing since and some people around me were sick. Guess I'm Superman now.

I'm just getting back on my feet from a nasty chest 'cold' that sapped me of any strength for four days. Four days in bed, was starting to worry about muscle atrophy. LOL Was drinking just water and juice and man that goes out the same way it goes in. If that's the definition of colonic irrigation .....

I had the same thing after Thanksgiving, terrible sinus infection with fever & worst headaches I have ever had. I ended up with a perforated ear drum & bleeding sinuses.

It must be the silver bottle 2-stroke-smoke that keeps your immune system top shelf.

I'm sorry, I had similar in early 2000's, just the weirdest feeling ever when that warm liquid bursts through the drum. Glad your better :)

I haven't had a cold or been sick for at least 5 years if not way more. Can't even remember that last time. Made it thought the storms luckily. Even commuting to D.C. sometimes 3 days a week to be around lots of clients. Used good common sense practices and guidelines. Even lived with 2 covid positive bodies in house (out of 4), one of them my wife. Never got any of it. :handshake:

My son just went through a 3 day flu. It hit him harder than anything he's ever had, so he says.

Both my kids had flu in the past few weeks. Worst I've ever seen them. A coworker's friends 12 year old son passed from it on Christmas. Even the hospital couldn't get his fever under control. It's pretty bad this year.
