Looks like the stuff that came through here yesterday. Nothing severe except for a couple small areas. Some heavy rains but didn't last too long. Got a bit over an inch.
It looks like we might not get it, the worst looks like it's staying south of us so at the moment it's just rain.
There was a tornado reported east of Kalkaska, MI yesterday. I was heading home from the Rogers City area and was on 131 just south of Kalkaska when I heard the warning on the radio. The worst of the storm was east of me, but i haven't seen wind and rain like that in a long time. I'd have pulled off on the shoulder of the road but I was worried someone would rear end me if I stopped. Hope everyone in the northeast stays safe.

This is from AccuWeather. According to AccuWeather Lead Long-Range Forecaster Paul Pastelok, "A very impressive push of air is forecast to move in during the middle of September that has the potential to bring some frost to the coldest interior locations of the Northeast and parts of the Midwest." Pastelok stated that the mid-month air will become surprisingly chilly over the northern Plains and Upper Midwest.
I'm not sure what this will bring but from this map we're on the edge, so far mother nature has been good to this area.
Stay safe Zap...... just hotter then hell here, saturday night looking tricky...... Had the boat out sunday night after the radar showed the rain and storms were done.Hit the lake, night fished for an hour, then started drizzling. Then heavy rain and we hauled back to the dock. Lightening bolts in the distance, still having a 15 minute ride to the dock, and I disobeyed the no wake rule and hauled azz. Not something ill be repeating anytime soon!
