Caffeine! My head is hurting this morning. The weather seems to be messing with sinuses a bit, but can breathe fine. Hopefully things will be feeling better when I’m off to the workhouse.
where we bought land is like 45 miles from walnut grove. South east of there. I grew up in Moorhead which is across the river from Fargo ND. Coldest natural temperatures I’ve felt were when I lived in Fargo at right around -30*F. About 8 years ago I had to smile one night because I was hauling beef from a slaughter house to a cold storage. They had a temp recorder in my trailer pulling a reefer. The temp was set to -20*F. I was chuckling to myself because of the insanity I couldn’t turn my reefer unit off because of that recorder. Why? My unit was running continuously in heat mode to maintain -20*F. We just had 8 continuous days below 0*F the week of Christmas along with 8” of snow at Christmas. Lot of holiday plans got changed as a result of the storm.
Well, I want to give all of you guys a heads up in order to avoid getting into trouble with the missus. As my wife and I were walking our 6 year old grandson out the door, I held the door for her as I’ve done all my life and my grandson asked, “ Poppie, why do you let girls go first out the door?” I told him. “In case of snipers, son.” Isn’t the correct answer apparently. Then the fight started… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
TrinitySouth99 , husband helped him fix it one time and was really surprised it ran on a motorcycle battery.
And I succeed, thank you very much I'd love a truck, and if money and gas mileage were no object, I'd probably have an F-550 with a 14 or 16' Flatbed. But realistically, something like a Tucson would offer a lot more room at a minimum of compromise to my gas mileage compared to even a small 2wd truck. Those new rangers are quite efficient, but I can't afford anything that new. I was determined to get something bigger this time, but I had always liked these accents, and the price was right, and after driving my old car several hundred miles with a dead cylinder, she was starting to stall out at times, so I had to get something as quick as I could. That's what sucks about when your vehicle has already kicked the bucket, you can't take your time to shop around the same. That's why I'm going to try to replace this car before that happens.
Good luck with your "new" car search TrinitySouth99 .............but............. may I ask why you are looking at vehicles thousands of miles away from where you are?
Makes sense...motorcycle sized engine n all...might even be smaller, Honda Goldwing is 1800cc 6 cyl...and there are larger ones out there too.
