    Friends were going to be coming over today but one of them came down sick this morning so that GTG is now put off until next Saturday. Having a quiet day at home with the better half is always a good thing.

    Good afternoon all. Been 54* with rain off and on all day. Guess I'll just have to watch my Hawkeyes.
    Holly managed to meet her first porcupine last night. Chaz ended up pulling 26-30 quills out of her bottom jaw and left cheek. She laid there pretty well.

    Got the beast down… it wasn’t easy … kinda of fought us most of the way… very balanced top end… but a double stacked set of wedges and a old metal wedge for the win… roughly 33 x 40 something at the base… my 36” barely cleared… that’s a 28” bar on the husky for reference… I’ve got a video when my buddy sends it…. It made a fairly loud crash when she hit…

    Morning All. Sunrise had sunshine in it. Hills behind us are covered in snow so the freezing level has dropped. 6th day of being sick but now it is just the occasional cough and sneeze. I started a puzzle last night that I thought would be fun and quick. Hah! I might get it done before Easter. campinspecter is still coughing more than me so it will be another couple of days of healing for him.

    Mid-30's and clear. 50's later today. A couple days of rain ahead.

    I'll go for a walk this morning. Then, bring wood to the deck.

    We'll start taking Christmas down and back into storage tubs.

    Outdoor hockey at Fenway Park this afternoon. Go Bruins!

    More collegiate football to nap during.

    And, I'll be prepping for a winter cabin camping gear trip in NH.
