I was given a new coffee maker for Christmas, I took it out of the box this morning to make coffee, scanned the buttons and gizmo's and used my old coffee maker instead lol. I'll go through the manual AFTER coffee
Sorry to hear about this. Not nice when you have to be in a hospital over a holiday. Mine was Easter. Once you're out are you going to celebrate Xmas? Get well and home soon.

There's an awesome greasy spoon/breakfast & lunch diner here that does deep fried hashed browns They separate the shreds and it comes out like tiny curly hashed brown things. Edit, like deep fried shoe string potatoes !
Due to an error on the part of the store we once ended up with a large quantity of deli potato salad which was not expected and we weren't charged for. Me being frugal and not wanting to waste it, tried something out of the ordinary. Pan fried tater salad with my eggs and sausage for breakfast. It was pretty good.
Did some framing at my in-law's house this AM. I thought my house was crooked but this was something special. Floor/ceiling was out by 1.75" over 18' span. Going back for more punishment in the morning.
No plans to Celebrate Christmas now. My family had their get together Christmas Eve. Wife was there for that event. Wife says all was well. We got gift cards so nothing to open. I have a tree up here. I'll leave it up for a bit. It will help me have Christmas, if only in my heart. I have a couple of presents for my dog Riley. Watching Riley will be enough.
Thanks Pete. VA let me out this afternoon. They had more test but the kidney doctor said no because those test can do harm to my kidney functions. So glad to be home, have my own bed. Cindy broght the dog, Riley to the VA when she came to pick me up. Dog was so excited.
Rest in the hospital was next to impossible. That wall clock hardly moves during the night. I got home this afternoon. I laid down and took a much needed nap; I am very grateful for everyone's best wishes and support.
I showed this to mom. She says, well if it can't be registered in California, there must be something wrong with it. I said no, there's something wrong with California...

Slept in until 10 Am. Had to get up then to take some meds and eat. I really didn't want to get up. I was soooooo comfortable in my own bed. I have a sleep number bed with a foam topper on an adjustable bed frame. I adjust the head tilt and then the waist adjusted so I don't slide down.
