    That is a nice ash log. What about the stump? You could still get a nice cut from that which would give you many splits.

    I plan to bring the top and one got stump block out later this week! A few btu’s in that tree beyond the lumber. Luckily the tree died this summer so it lumber itself on impact

    Nice log! Finding solid ash is getting harder to do here. When I get any there is typically some decay in it.

    The live edge has some great detail from the borer. I still would prefer no borer issues as there are tons and tons of dead ash around here. I will snap a picture later today.
