Update on children from cotton picker accident.
Update on Briar and Bryce from the uncle…they lessened sedation with Bryce to check his motor skills etc and he kept trying to talk but unable to due to the vent tube but was asked to wiggle his toes and did, asked him if he knew who Miranda was, he did and they asked him if he hurt anywhere and he pointed towards his throat and Brandan walked up and he waved to him and Bryce drew a heart to them both… Dr. Said he has a broken collar bone, couple broken ribs and they couldn’t tell if vertebrae were dislocated or what at this point…. Briar Rose is the one needing the most prayer at this point, she is off and on with responsive to light and touch, cranial pressure is rising, pancreas levels are elevated, meds given to increase blood flow to ensure adequate blood flow being flown to the brain, no surgery’s mentioned to either of them at this time and I am sure they are a lot I am missing but I think I can now get a couple hours of sleep now as some good news is a lot of relief but little Briar needs all the prayers she can get…. Thanks everyone for the donations that have been donated to them and no donation no matter big or small has gone unnoticed and is greatly appreciated as this is going to be a long road to recovery for them both. All we can do at this point is pray for the best and keep our head high and never give up hope!!! Thanks for all the support and prayers again… If I get any other updates I will post them the best I can to keep everyone informed to the latest

Update on Briar and Bryce…. They have took Bryce off the ventilator and he is responding well, he has a few fractured vertebrae but is waving , giving thumbs up, bending his legs and all for the Dr.‘s and knows he is in the hospital but they haven’t told him why just yet to keep himself contained and not be worried about Briar’s condition but to focus on himself as much as possible…. Briar has got a cast on one of her ankles and another cast on other leg and still monitoring the cranial PSI as the Dr.s would like for it to be around 13 and is currently at 14 as they have the cranial tap in since last night and treating the swelling with medication so please continue the prayers for these 2 as they are still in need…. Thanks again for everyone’s prayers and support during this horrific time as it is taking a toll on us all but continue praying for them and the medical team for the treatment on them to get them healed up and be back home as soon as possible to continue enjoying their holidays out of school and the wonderful weather we are having!!!

Update on Briar and Bryce!!!!! Today has been a wonderful wonderful day!!!! Briar is controlling everything as usual. She is breathing on her own, vitals are great, pooping, and peeping. I touched an eye boogie and she flinched. Miranda cleaned her ears with a wet q-tip and she was moving her head away from me. We are on no IV medication just oral medication through her feeding tube. She had a vent tube still but it’s basically being used as a Cpap at this point. No catheter as of a few minutes ago. She has been bathed and her hair has been washed. She now has a side pony with a cheetah print bow! We are just waiting for her to wake up to see what a beautiful miracle baby she is.
Bryce just walked the halls with a walker just for balance support. He is getting stronger everyday. We are now starting to rule out impatient therapy so hopefully he will just get to go home and do what we need to there. Either way, he is here and that is a blessing from God.
As we continue to say, on to another great day from the Lord. ❤️
