I have not. I have seen chain handles. With a 12 lb head, I don't think it'd work too well though.

 

If I have only learned one thing in the construction biz, it’s best to steer clear of the guys that walk around with their boots untied and pants tucked into ‘em.

 

Maul with a curved handle. How about maul with a bent handle.
