I do pretty much nothing and have really not had many issues at all. At least not if it's only a season where it's been not used. I run the lines dry and as low as I can in the tank for gas, then store. Before the season that equipment will be used, I buy fresh gas and fill the tank. Haven't had much for issues, and what I have had for issues is a simple fix. The carb on the DR wheeled line trimmer hadn't been run in a couple years and I didn't own it or run it last before I got it. It took me cleaning the carb out. Pretty simple and it runs great now. We started using e10 I think 3 decades ago, and have been pretty much been doing this method since it first never available. So it definitely works. I recall when our local stations first went to e10. There were widespread issues, my logic was that the ethanol stripped the crud green the old gas tanks and that went into every gas can and vehicle's tanks causing issues. I remember many people needing fuel filters even on fairly new vehicles and the filters were clogged. That's exactly what happened on my ski nautique. You could see the varnish on the inside of the aluminum tank. It was yellow. That boat never saw e10 until about 8 or so seasons of owning it, and it's a 78. After running e10 a while, like a summer, the inside of that fuel tank was shiny silver. I had to change like 2 or 3 spin on full size fuel filters and clean the Holley 4 barrel. No issues since... Gas is a heck of a lot cleaner now than it used to be.
So sorry to hear that Larry! I more than understand the feeling of being in a very dark time, been there. Just do what the docs say and get better. Don’t hesitate to speak up if you need anything, I’ll help however I can.
Wife and I just got home from eating out at Red Lobster tonight. It was a good place to go to celebrate 54 years of married bliss. One of our sons had gotten us a gift card for that place.

JESUS, we lift our brother, Larry, up to YOU. YOU know his needs, we pray for the doctors treating him, they will have wisdom for his care, we pray for Larry's strength and peace. Give him comfort, as he has given comfort to others. JESUS, let YOUR LIGHT shine on him. Amen
savemoney There are many members here who have you in their thoughts and prayers. From one vet to another, thank you for serving us and the rest of the U.S. I hope you aren't in any pain and are able to rest well. But more importantly, recover! Don't know why, but as I was waking up this morning, I was thinking about my flight back to the U.S. and the couple I sat with.
