What was your overnight temperature and how warm did your house stay come morning? We don’t have an IS yet.

I ran a Harman wood furnace from the basement and a Quad pellet stove in the upstairs all night. It was -4 outside with high winds gust… 69-70 degrees inside when we got up. Our Log house (1500 sq ft + 19 ft ceiling+ full basement) is not that airtight but 4 inches of snow on the roof helps keep the heat in.

Was tremendous, Lows 5 with windchill -14. The I.S. did it's job, 6 oak slabs and went to rest at 72 degrees and woke up with 69, Very comfortable, We ran a Harmon Oak wood stove for about 25 years and when the rat nest in it went bad it ws on a full load and almost lost it all, Well that was in Feb. Needed heat and Woodstock was kind enough to ship one to us in 4 weeks, (only heat we had) was a rough 4 weeks, Best move we made for wood stove, WONDEFUL FOLKS AS WELL, at WOODSTOCK. And to all a GOOD NIGHT, Pleasant evening and MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE. Pray for our country.

Not an IS but an AS.
My temperature readings are in the adjacent room. Went bed last night Outside temp -1 inside 72. Woke up to an inside temp.68. That is in an old farm house without much insulation
I am pleased how the AS is running this year.

Loaded our IS up last night around 11PM, -4F outside, got down to 68F in the main room @ 6:30AM.

Now, I don't "fill" the stove packed.. and it was 80F when I went to bed.

    No complaints.

Friday night started at 7 went down to 3 with winds of 30 mph gusting 55+

Large family room with the stove was 73-74 From there we have two wall fans that blow air into two of the bedrooms upstairs. The upstairs hallway held at 71. The hot air from the fans pushes the upstairs air down the stairs, through the rest of the house back to the stove room, so full circulation. The coldest room on the first floor was 69. Figure about 2400 sq feet getting heater in an older poorly insulated house by modern standards.

In order to stay that warm I was running quite a bit hotter than normal, even for those temps without the wind. My house leaks and the wind made a big difference. I was getting about 8 hours on a load of wood vs 12 ish without the wind or 16+ with temps closer to 20.
