:D... I actually brought my light coat out this week... Usually its only my Key Jean Jacket... but under 20F and any length of time the light coat goes on... But under 10F and anytime outside my heavy winter coat goes on.... But yea, equipment don't like it... Oil and Fluids become pretty viscous... Stay warm Brother....:handshake:

Had a little more wood leave the woodyard yesterday.
New customer came by, wanted some dry wood to go with what he had to burn in a fireplace. Let him get 2 rows of mostly hickory and a little maple, he really wanted more, but we're trying to stretch this for awhile. 1227221014_HDR.jpg
Then we delivered a load to a repeat customer... 1227221115_HDR.jpg Hickory, maple, a little oak and cherry.
She became a widow in Aug '21, her son got 2 racks built early this year, so we stacked it for them 1227221224_HDR.jpg
    It was a good day...:):)...
They want a load of 16" oak in a couple weeks when the other rack in empty.

The restaurant was getting low, so we loaded a tote for delivery... 1228220938_HDR.jpg
Added 2 pieces of 2x4 to the hand trucks, made moving wood to stacking area much easier 1228220938a_HDR.jpg
Got it stacked next to the cookers... 1228221114.jpg

Got a call from a new customer this year wanting a 2nd load...we can handle that. 2 rows of hickory and we split a row of older small oak logs... 1229221117_HDR.jpg
When I woke up this evening, we had been recommended in a FB post. A couple was needing a load for her 79 yr old dad. We will be loading that this morning, a mixed load like that, as well.

Got to finish up the Plantation site, and have leads on a couple other places...
Got some tree service drop offs to process...
And the mess the loggers left...

    ME?
I've gotten so lazy that this is the last year burning 3+ year old wood, other than the 1.5 cords 6+ year old locust horded at Lefty's place. Need to get busy this year and stock up here at the house. Maybe you need to come here?

Another busy day in Dixie. We got the load for the older gentlemen fixed and delivered 1230221017.jpg
He helped us stack it. It was nice to meet and spend a bit of time with him.
His SIL texted me, thanked us for prompt service and said we would definitely be their "wood" people in the future...:thumbs: 1230221150.jpg
Picked up some BBQ for lunch and filled truck with gas. Got home, ate a sammich...phone message comes in...
Repeat customer wants another load of seasoned wood, if we have any.:yes:
    1230221559.jpg
Another load...half hickory, half older oak. We got it stacked on their porch racks, hickory on the right, oak on left.
    1230221714.jpg
    Slept good last night...:sleeping::sleeping::sleeping:

Good morning Jeff. I don't do nearly as much wood as you do but when I do some I tend to sleep really good.
