we had a gust that lasted a few minutes, blew trash cans over, and really shook things for a few minutes. more or less over for the moment, but the temp is dropping. 54 this morning, 47 half an hour ago. SCA
That was some serious wind! I think our top was 47 but I'm not 100% certain. We had a few that were a bit much.
Our winds stayed between 50-60 mph last night a few gusts over 60... 79mph in Lackawanna is crazy though. Might have actually made those huge windmills move, on second thought probably not lol
Above a certain wind speed they shut down, not sure what it is on the newer turbines but on the older ones here it was 55 at one time.
Seems like they barely ever move... but new york states got plenty of my money to put up more so that's what they'll do... as long as they can't see them in NYC lol
