    If I was a little smarter I would have built a fire in the shop tonight so it would be bearable tomorrow....but I'm not smarter. Dang it now I get to choose between being cold or stuck in the house all day.

    Wind and snow blew in and left in 1.5 days with only a couple inches of snow. Arctic cold remains. We're forecasted to be above zero temps tomorrow :yes:

    Old man winter blew in last night and now I can hear the wind howling. Stove is cranking and its still snowing. I moved a lot of firewood up to the porch yesterday afternoon in preparation but I might go move more today. I want to make one more wood rack for the porch. Hopefully it doesn't collapse :zip::whistle:

    I'm bored already. This being stuck in the house stuff sucks.

    I went out earlier and checked the boiler and the animals and that was about all I wanted. Wind is absurd. I don't think I can remember it blowing this hard for this long.

    Might be a good gun cleaning day.

    It's frickin cold out there. I am sitting here in front of a stove on full choocher, and I have to snow blow the driveway. Also I have to do last minute shopping.
    It's -9° and -35° wind chill with 25 mph constant winds and gusts up to 50 mph. I've got a feeling that it'll be cold regardless of what I put on to clear the driveway.

    Lukem, I didn't build one because of the warm temps today. But I WILL head out that way in the morning and get her going. The house is full, the cottage is full. There's christmas music blaring from 3-4 tvs and bluetooth speakers all around here and everyone screaming to hear each other to talk.

    Man the wind is howling over my way! BRRR I went out to the bar and even though it’s tarps the whole inside was filled with snow from the heavy wind gusts! I fired up the Pitt Boss smoker tonight and threw some pizzas in. I’ll show Mother Nature who’s boss of my town!:whistle:

    It is a BLIZZARD HERE!!!! We braved it because the snowing just started a few hours ago so the roads aren’t bad yet. Only a few miles to my Mother’s house for dinner. Delicious Fish Fry from the local Elk’s Club where my brother is cooking tonight!

    I'll need to get my elk roast and a deer roast out of the freezer that I'll be making into jerky. A coworker gave me the elk to jerky-ize, and I've got time over Christmas.
