It’s .325 which is the same as both the others, except I run 18” on them. This rainsman 16”b/c combo from HLSUPPLY says right on the package that it should fit the other two also. But when I tried the old b/c off my 345 the chain was like 2 or 3?drive links to long from coming tight.
Oh well it appears that I got it sorted out, just got another chain size to keep me confused

A friend of mine that has more chainsaws than me. Yeah the paint looks really good and it’s a runner. I told the seller to be on the lookout for 2 series xp’s since he frequents flea markets.

    Not this one.....
That reminds me, when I was about 14 my older brother who was 25 decided to use a chainsaw to rip a hog we were butchering down the spine length wise......bad plan...... imagine trying to clean up the saw after words....it was BAD!

In fact, it was a saw just like this..... IMG_20220330_182857.jpg

    Added to my collection.

dad gave me his stihl o21 or something like that he bought back around 1997 when he built his retirement house.

I bought this the other day for our new place.

    Hory crud…

the amount of stuff on these saws is mind boggling….

    yes, I RTFM today…

winter operations…. Now I’m looking for that unicorn known as a cover plate for operating in snow.

M-tronic calibration…how much of a difference does this really make…

As somebody that has owned a ms362c for 4 years, I have never had to calibrate the saw. I have noticed if I last started the saw when it is hot outside and then I start it a month later when it is cold and damp it will take the saw a bit of time to acclimate. The computer or solenoid is searching or hunting for optimum RPM at idle and WOT. Awesome saw, I got mine ported last year.

have you thought about changing the 4-point dogs out for the 5-point?

first time owning a full professional grade saw.

been watching a ton of YT videos and never realized the technical details just in chains before.
