We have had many days of cloudy weather and scattered snow showers. We finally got to see the sun with lots of blue skies. Blue skies, sun and snow still sticking to the trees made for a beautiful sight, even if the temps are in the low teens. Enjoy On my way to the pole barn to get wood. The next 2 pics were taken from the doorway of the pole barn. Looking behind the pole barn. Looking back at the house. You can see a branch, or 2, of the column arborvitae bent down under the weight of the snow.
It sure is pretty, even if it's cold. Load up brother, there's a big cold snap and more snow on the way.
Looking at those pics I can feel the cold tinge in my nose, the smell of the snow and hear the silence ( if that makes sense). Great pics
Howdy, pardner. Great pics!! I’m also in western WI and got dumped on. CRAZY clear skies and cold tonight. A fancy camera would get a good shot.
Great pics. Fwiw, a great phone pretty much renders a DSLR camera useless, because you'll more than likely have your phone on you, and the difference between the two of pretty minimal at best.

I too love the silence of a fresh snow. Predicting highs of 17 this weekend but no white stuff in our near future, and I'm fine with that. I'd rather look at everyone else's pictures!!
Winter wonderland? …. I wonder how long it’s gonna take me to be able to use this door and steps this winter. It’s packed pretty tight and I had the deck clean last weekend
