Only ended up with maybe 4-5" yesterday. Spoke with someone about 45 minutes away and they had a good foot. Dang.........it must have missed us! 26/70, No need to throw wood into the furnace yet.
20f outside after an inch of light snow yesterday, looking for a high of 24f. Cedar and an oversized piece of mulberry keeping the stove top around 400.
Honey locust will be a good one to chew on! 37/75. I wish it would freeze up at this point. 2 days of mostly rain and the mud isn’t going away anytime soon.
My yard is to the point I've seen pics of @ your gtg's with the tractor sunk. Can't do a darn thing out there.
No wind and no snow? Fine by me. Colder than usual for this time of year but the blue sky and snow on the ground make me more than happy.
It’s 37 here and I’m overkilling it once again. No idea how hot the stove is but it’s up there At least the air is throttled all the way back. Spruce and hickory limbs up to bat once again.
I can feel the warmth from here. Mulberry and locust with a stovetop of 500f to hold back the 20f outside right now. In for a cold week or more.
About 20” of snow in last couple days. HEAVY stuff. Next week we have highs around zero so it’s all about to freeze SOLID!! Burning oak.
23/71 ... A little oak and a couple piece of hedge to get me down the road a bit. Since I'll be around, I'll be able to feed the stove...
Still mild here at 37, projected to hit 40 later. Spruce, cherry and a little hickory now, but I’m planning on switching to straight spruce for the rest of the day.
25F about 3" of light snow. Temps finally predicted to stay below freezing, so hopefully things get better. Gonna go plow a friend's driveway, daughter has leukemia and they're at the hospital most of the time. I'll keep it cleaned out so they have one less thing to think about. Oak in the boiler. Christmas forecast looks good.
