Over 70,000 square miles of no travel advised. And to think technically it isn't even winter yet in Dakotah Territory. I live at the intersection just west of the highway 200 marker and heard a report of 16 inches with 3-4 more on the way with high winds.

Hope you have plenty of wood and the pantry is full! Crank the wood stove, throw a big pot of beef and barley stew on the stove and a loaf of sourdough in the oven! Hope you folks weather the storm in style!

Just heard a report west of us 13 miles had 15.5 inches so far. They are predicting another 5-10 inches with gusts up to 40 mph for tomorrow.

I think we sent that to you, sorry! We had four days straight of rain and 50" of snow up at the ski resorts. They said it would take a week to get past the Rockies so the timing is right. Stay saft and stay warm and burn some of that hoard!

I've been wondering how that area has been after all the forecasts of doom and gloom. Haven't yet heard from my nephew but probably will today.
