Our little Whitfield Prodigy 2 is basically a straight up shot...back to the draft fan and out.

A skunked up vent is easily set on fire in this stove.....We had a flash over a couple nights ago.

They can be spooky when the paint on the pipe jacket starts to smoke :hair:

Shut off the fuel....Open the door, grab a really wet towel and cool the pipe off.....

These fiasco's are quickly resolved.....But sucking the pipe once a week or so will assure they do not happen.....

This is the little stove in my AVATAR

We finally got a dry day that we could schedule a SHELL RUN
#3 IS IN THE BOOKS NOW.....
This load were smaller shells....Young trees possibly........
Quite a bit more weight too.....
After a trip through Munchy they all burn good......

Weather was dry....but only 34F all day and a dense fog.....

Heavy rain on it's way this evening.......and for the next several days.....
We had snow Sunday....About an inch.....Just enough to make stuff really slippery is all...

All good ...Outfit all put away and ponies fed and watered.....

We still have 6 barrels empty......Having not been able to schedule a trip....We plowed through all but 4 barrels from runs 1 and 2 that we did in October.....

The plans is (After looking at the Weather forecast.....NEXT WEEK should see some nice weather.....

We will also have enough empties to be able to handle a full dumpster load.....

I am thinking that we will likely do at least 2 more loads before we shut down for the summer.....

The weather has not been COLD COLD....At least for us....But we are running both stoves 24/7

Temps have been low 30's F at night and upper 30's F to low 40's during the day......Sadly, with the low sun angle and the trees that shield the house from what sun there is.....We don't get much help from the sun....

Put a few inches of snow on the roof....Toasty in here...very easy....

Luckily my bath is in the middle of the house(no outside walls) so its stays warm. I'd still wouldn't mind at heated seat. Having heated seats in the vehicles spoiled us! :D

Nothing like warm buns on a chilly day!!

We have a bidet seat unit. Heated seat, heated water . My brother who had just stayed with us for 6 weeks says it's the thing he misses most now being back in his own place.

Vehicle seat warmers are definitely great. Steering wheel heaters are awesome too. Between those two things, as long as the windshield is clear, I don't have to waste gas by warming the truck up before driving off.

Yesterday was my off Friday so I went up to the largest NH city and picked up my trial contact lenses (different scrip from what I have been wearing), stopped as several BBS, then came home and cleaned both pellet stoves. I performed the LBT because I had only used the soot eater at the end of last season and I'm burning very ashy Green Supremes. These are so ashy that it has been 3 weeks since the last cleaning, haven't run really that much thru the stoves, and yet the ash bins were 3/4 full. However, the GS do burn just a tad hotter than the TSC MWP;s do, and the price was excellent, so I can't complain.
