Came home to find my OWB not circulating. Service call tomorrow. My calendar is full so cant do it myself. Presuming the pump is out. Sunday was full of cutting rounds. The ash that I posted when the forester dropped it. Gratefully, it isn’t punky so i am delivering it to a friend who needs some help. was able to drag out a few logs to cut, then cut some e nearby treetops close by. Ready to have a helper run the splitter and help load. Will post pics then the girl who did her Eagle Scout project on the farm, may help me now the girls are doing other stuff with their lives.
I did get out to cut some yesterday. Mostly trimming so I can get some tops out for next spring. I think I'm out of practice. First thing I did was hang the saw. I've only done that a couple times in my life. I had the atv rather than the tractor. Have the snow blade on so just pushed a bit while lifting slightly and got the saw out. Worked until the saw was out of gas then quit. That's about all I'm capable of doing anymore. It tuckers me out and really hurts my back and neck but I still love doing it when I can.
had to put Bell down today -cancer , she is the one with red collar in avatar just turned 10. Sky, her sister is a bit lost with out her. but then so am I.
If you decapitate them with fishing pole and line is that hunting or fishing license.. did that on my front deck for my mom 1 day; she wanted fresh turkey.. an old kids Zebco closed face worked Mom was happy
I am sorry for your loss. Been there and it is a horrible feeling. Remember the good times you had together.
Never easy to lose a friend. Just remember she is now cancer free and thanking you for that and waiting to meet again pain free.
Family home again for my Mother’s Birthday. 89 y.o. So my oldest brother and I managed to get some projects done for her around her house over the last two days. Was great seeing him and my older sister and her hubby from the Seattle area. And all my local brothers and sisters as well! And we all ate too much again, over the last three days. I do enjoy it though. Now back to behaving better.
My condolences. You gave her a good life, and she returned the favor for a part of your life. Maybe, eventually, another good friend.
