We made it to #9 in warmest Novembers on record. None of those eight ahead of it were in the last 40 years (of I remember the chart I saw on the news correctly)
The weather forecast calls for pretty mild weather for the next week or so. Rainy and maybe a little sn*w, but mild temps.
Everything we've bought for the shack had some sort of delay. If it isn't in stock at the store you can expect weeks and weeks for delivery. We waited 2 months for the counter tops and 5 for one of the cabinets.
Im around 15-20 Bags. Only really burned for the cold snap. Furnace has been off for 48 hours now and climbing. When the patern changes around the 14th, I'm going to have to step up my pellet use. Don't want anything sitt8ng outside all of 23.
Half way through my second ton. We’ve had unusually warm weather though (thank you Jesus). I hope it continues this way. I wasn’t at all prepared for this winter due to a very serious injury and I’m just buying them a ton at a time as I’m still recovering. Moving pellets is a bear when you’re injured.
Looks like I used 24 bags in January for a total of 97 for the year. Somehow that 24 bags doesn't seem right since I calculated 47 bags for December. But, January wasn't very windy and we had plenty of warmish days (and nights). I may have messed up that count for December - I remember being surprised that I had used that much. Perhaps I didn't count a row, or counted the large pallet as 7 bags per row instead of 8. Or it was colder/windier than I remember. Either way, I am confident in the total of 98 bags for the season. Usage will ramp up over the next couple of days .
We used 62 bags in January for a total of 175 for the year. I was trying to save the last 4 bags of sets, But It looks like they will go in the stove Friday.
