I was very glad to have discovered it before something bad happened. He did light more than one fire so a major bullet dodged. Someone pushed double wall back into the wall thimble just far enough to reach the masonry flue, and that was it. Pretty stupid.
Ugh, these cars you have to lift up the shifter surround trim to remove the passenger side panel of the center console, to be able to remove the center console kick panel plastic which has to come off to remove the glove box. It's like dominoes and a headache for sure! Then I have to inhibit start at the fusebox on the driver side, run wires all the way across the engine bay through the firewall behind the glovebox, then back over to the driver side under dash area. What a pain in the arse. Sorry, rant over.
Yup I feel ya. you gotta take half of those things apart to do any repair. Getting the transaxle in and out is a real treat.
Oh man, that's fugly! Yes, doublewall stove pipe would be proper, and preferred to singlewall. I've never see doublewall insulated stove pipe...that would be chimney pipe...
Last May I spent 18 hours at the DC airport. Then they could ounly get me to Boston (unless I waited 3 days). Had to hire a car to get me to Manch. Fun that was not. There was a small snafu picking up by bag yesterday morning. Didn't have anything to do with the airline and everything to do with how my mother and I communicated. got a little exercise to hoof it the mile or so to where she was waiting for a txt (which I could not send because I lost any service to my phone until we were out about 5 miles). Weird because her phone had full bars - I guess their syst3em wasn't playing well with US Cellular. Or maybe it was because my phone is only 4G. No biggie, just another irritation.
Stayed awake all night from stress and now I'm setting here drinking coffee pondering things. On the bright side I have really good coffee... Hope you all are having a better morning!
My lord Im that far off this morning I completely forgot it was thanksgiving! Happy thanksgiving folks! Wow Im a bit out of it...
