I made a mistake modding and then selling my early bronco. And my 58,000 original mile 72 chevy k5 blazer my uncle bought new. Yeah, that one still stings once I realized the error of my ways.
Grey area....no 4x4 / full time / awd option. This will take some collective minds to hash out the real truck vs NART segment.
Because people mostly use a truck for people moving and hauling smaller stuff. We are those people but, usually there is a camper in tow or our utility trailer with our bikes.
Does a Nissan Xterra count as a NART? It's on a Nissan Frontier frame, should have 4x4 but the transfer case is stuck in 2WD. It has been loaded with firewood to the gills in the back before I bought my little wood hauling trailer. My wife calls in our "truck." And, I don't think it identifies as a fruit.
I just seen one of those the other day...looked like brand new still! I was like, whoa, blast from the past! Yup, if its got a bed, and is diesel, its gotta be a truck, right?! Just need some big chrome stacks up through the bed now...so you can roll coal (which as I recall, those things would roll coal (a lil bit) bone stock!)
My former FIL brought a pony home in the back seat of his Caddy...he must have scared the chit outta it on the way home too! MIL was NOT happy...this was still a pretty nice car!
The actual legal definition of a pickup truck.... Pickup truck Pickup truck means a non-passenger automobile which has a passenger compartment and an open cargo area. One of the Webster's dictionary definitions of Pickup... pickup truck : a light truck having an enclosed cab and an open body with low sides and tailgate
My dad used to haul chickens, live Chickens, in his Dodge K car wagon despite having a 1987 Ford F150 at the time. Mom never road in that car. She had her own lol.
I personally don’t like this one as it removes the Aussie Ute. Which has a cab and then a flat usually aluminum bed. America won’t import them.
