Rain tomorrow into saturday with warmer temps. Then a cold front moves in, high of 40 for Sunday, one of 3 Sunday's we are allowed to hunt in PA. Next week cold. Last week of archery and rut should be hot. Im also off for the week.

Great deer! Tomorrow is opening day of modern gun here, my favorite time of year. Suppose to be 28°in the morning with a high of 50°. Hoping for the best.

I saw 9 absolute rope dragger turkeys tonight and not a single deer.

Wind is going to suck in the morning if it doesn't calm down some.

I have a buddy who's relative hit a good buck and couldn't find it. They had a guy come out with a drone with a FLIR (thermal imaging) camera. They found the buck. Wasn't cheap though..

Ive been bad at updating this, honestly because its 11/12 and still almost 80°??? And firewood and wood-stoves just hasnt been on the brain. So far I have these two stags, also pic’d with a buddy - we doubled!! I also have 3 WT does so far too. Ive been in a tree here on the farms a bunch for a buck, its heating up but just no shooters yet.

Brother got a decent buck in snowy condition. I didn’t see anything in the evening, but it was nice to be out looking at the woods with a blanket of white.

Disappointing morning but I've been through it before. I saw 3 bucks, 2 were shooters. Stuck a big boy and lost him. :headbang:

Spike under my stand this morning.
Saw a really nice buck chasing a doe this morning. Thought we would have more movement with cold weather moving in.

Nice buck… would look good in a European mount… besides his meat will be better quality than a buck in rut…
