Yeah, I’m with ya there. We’re in Nov and it’s supposed to be at least chilly. I held off on getting that big locust waiting for cooler temps. Last day I worked it, sweat was running in my eyes and dripping on my glasses.
We have an old 10' wooden ladder, I fastened a piece of 2x6 on top, usually use 3 or 4 clamp on lights with LED bulbs. Can aim them where needed.
Our local Stihl dealer went out of business. I just happened to stop by and the place was bare. They officially closed last Friday, but were cleaning up yesterday. Said the dry summer killed his lawn equipment repair business and it was slow getting new Stihl saws and equipment. Been buying from them for a number of years. Sorry to see another local business have to close down.
Truck driver's assistant stands right where I need to park forklift. I just creep the lift along inch by inch, and he backs up, inch by inch, seemingly determined to stay within 18" of the lift, holding out the invoice in an outstretched hand. just walk 6 feet away man and let me out of this thing. I have to check my merchandise before I sign the paper.
