Daylight the afternoon/ evening is/would be much better than light in the am....

I think they should swap the way we change the time.

The length of the day is more important to me than the time. I can sleep when it's dark, but working outside is a bit harder...

It may be light there at 7:00 but not here. You get light earlier there but also get dark earlier. Who cares, there are still 24 hours in a day.

Yes, but for people.who have yo be at a job from X to Y time, and they get off and have about 1.5 hours-ish till dark to get chores done......it sucks. For people who are retired or don't work, or who are self employed, a clock doesn't matter as much.

Yeah, different positions within time zones does play a role for sure.

It’s gonna be dark when I leave the house either way. I’d like the light in the afternoon.

Ya, living out of town poor kid either leaves in the dark in the morning or gets picked up early evening in the dark 1/2 the time.

I have the less fancy low lumen model. She's easy on fuel though.

    I un-love daylight savings time.
If people want light after work, employers should adjust work schedules (you know, summer hours/ winter hours), not mess around with our clocks.
Many businesses do different hours in summer/winter anyways.
Despite what many people seem to think, adjusting the clocks forward an hour does not magically add more daylight to our day.
Another option is self employment.....to heck with the stupid system.

I agree with the majority. I'd rather the daylight on the pm end so I can get things done. Being light while driving to work doesn't mean jack crap to me.

The school kid excuse has been around for years. Every kid I see is waiting in their parents car at the end of the driveway.

Hear those overhead blades going chop chop chop?
We walked nearly out of sight of the house to the bus stop. Never had any issues. Made it easier to play hooky, just duck out of sight, wait for the bus to come and go, and free kid for the day!!
The school probably has a collection of notes my "parents" wrote.

So now we live a little more by the seasons. Maybe we'll adjust our eating and resting schedules to match. More work in lighter months, less work in darker months.
Electric lightbulbs really screw with my sleep schedule (in that they allow us to be up and working when we perhaps ought to be sleeping).

I know not of what you speak. Nor do I know calling the school to dismiss myself pretending to be my father.
