Go get it! I got family coming over today and rain tomorrow, then the work week. I'd be running saws all day if I could.
Got organized yesterday. Had chainsaw tools and filters, odds and ends in a tool box. Repurposed an old tackle box into a saw go box. I got real serious about it, that's why I'm wearing real tree crocs. Some of the tools are too long to fit in their own spot and I have more to add. Its a good start. I can grab this and have anything I would need in the woods.
Happy belated birthday Ron T and scavenger Man is it windy today. They said there's be 55 mph gusts, and they were not wrong. Lost power for a moment. But just that. I had to resecure my ski boat cover. A couple of the 1/4" strings broke that tied the cover to the trailer. Easy fix, I'll probably put nylon strapping on the cover because it has the easy cinch buckles. The grill cover had to be resecured as well. If it drops much more in temperature, I'll light a fire in the quadrafire insert. 50° out now. It was 60° only an hour ago or so.
Poor WWW was in and out most the day trying to secure the prefab chicken coop I bought, it was anchored well so they didn 't go flying like our previous trampolines did like Wizard of Oz, but the high winds/gusts were leaning it over/flexing it and it looked like it would collapse. He had to wear ski goggles because there was silt/tiny snow crystals in the wind. Uggg, wind is calming down now thankfully and it's braced via 2x4's to house and patio deck and rope over the top.... Hope you get relief soon HKN
Got up to 73* yesterday afternoon, and at 2:30 am it is 67* and extremely windy. Well, "extremely is not anywhere near those 55 mph gusts. All I know is I can hear it constantly and I'm super glad it is warm out or the pellet stoves would be cycling on a constant basis.
