Been extremely foggy in the mornings up our way lately ! Good time to go old school...and get out some frustration on some innocent Cherry and Maple !
Last time I woke up in a fog and used a bladed weapon it didn’t turn out good Have fun but be careful.
Great pics. Really good fog here this morning even with the sun out after 9am. Fun to hand split a little now and then.
The fog was just nuts here on Wednesday and Thursday...especially Thursday...it was noon until it finally halfway burnt off...and even then was still a little hazy until mid afternoon!
What a time and place to get to know one's God. I have a hard time resisting the Divinity of mornings like that. Great pics! Sca
It is amazing how much fog we've had this fall. I've seen old saying of counting the foggy days in August to find out how many snow storms will be in winter. Bit here, it has always been said to count the foggy days in October. If so, we might get some snow this winter. We've been on a run here with very little snow for many years.
We had some extremely dense fog on Wednesday and Thursday as well. Thursday it didn't lift until 11:30 in Ashtabula County. I was planning on picking up a re-built transmission for my son's truck early, but waited until it was clearer before getting on I-90 and heading towards Erie.
Had to drive a 60,000lb rig around noble county on Wed and thursday morning, awful visibility. Up and down hills and valleys. I rate my experience a 1/10. Nice pics.
If this saying held true out here, we will have 6 months of snow. I hope not. I like having only about 5 days of snow in a winter.
We might get one snow fall of a foot of snow and it will last about a couple of days. Normally we get about a couple of inches and it will be gone within a day or two. that might happen a couple times during the winter. Our winters are usually wet with temps around 40 F. Occasionally we get dry sunny weather for a couple weeks in January with freezing temps. Nothing like what the rest of Canada gets.
Lots of fog in our area the last few mornings as well. This was Friday morning at work. Could hardly see 50yds. It was like that until almost 8am.
We got our first snow fall this morning. It barely covers the ground and it will probably be gone by noon.
